Who is behind the wiki, what it builds on, and how it stays current.

This wiki is provided by StyraHem, a Swedish smart-home retailer. It is independent and free to read.

What it builds on

The content rests on three legs:

• StyraHem's own experience and knowledge. We sell, install and troubleshoot Shelly products every day. Much of what's here comes from what we've actually seen work — and not work — with real customers, not just from a spec sheet.
• Shelly's official documentation. kb.shelly.cloud, the product specifications, the Shelly Smart Control app and the web version at control.shelly.cloud.
• Hands-on testing. We verify against real devices and the real app where we can.

Where something couldn't be confirmed, it says so in the text. We'd rather say something is uncertain than guess.

Independent

This wiki is not official Shelly documentation. We try to be clear about what's Shelly's official information and what's our own advice and experience, and where something can't be confirmed, it says so in the text.

How it stays current

Shelly ships updates often and sometimes moves features around. If you find something that doesn't match your app or device, get in touch via the report button at the bottom of every page. That's how the wiki stays alive.
